We wish all of our families a Happy New Year as we settle back into our school routines after the break. This month, our school is focusing on the virtue of courage. We see students practicing this virtue often in our school! Students show courage in many ways, including trying something new, making an announcement at school, reading a new book and trying hard things every day. We are so proud of our students at Sidney Elementary. Ask your child how they show the virtue of courage!
Hot Lunch Reminder
The last day to order Hot Lunch for Friday, January 20th is Tuesday, January 10th. Ordering will be open until midnight on that day. PAC is unable to accept late orders as orders need to be submitted to the vendors in advance. Please see ordering information below.

Read Around the School
A reminder to families that we will be hosting Read Around the School on Friday January 27th from 8:45 - 9:10 am. Please come and join us in this school wide event where we read with each other and enjoy books together. Please come to your child’s classroom right after our morning announcements if you are able to attend.
Kindergarten Registration for Fall 2023
All children born in 2018 are eligible to register for Kindergarten.
- January 24 3:30-5:30pm
- January 25 12:30-2:30pm
- January 26 7:30-9:30am
To register at Sidney Elementary School please bring:
- Completed Registration Form
- Original supporting documentation
- Copies of documentation if possible

Photo Retake Order Deadline – January 20th
Lifetouch Photos has extended the order deadline for ordering your re-take photos. Please have orders returned to the school no later than January 20th, 2023.
