School News ~ December 2, 2022
ÍY SȻÁĆEL Sidney Families,
We are ending this week on a chilly note, but our students have had lots of fun this week. We had some snow and our students really enjoyed their time outside, they even had the opportunity to build giant snowballs on our field! A reminder to families that students are outside throughout the day so it is important that they arrive dressed for the weather so they can play outside comfortably. We have some boots and coats available at our school office. If your child needs a coat or boots, please contact jbatallas@saanichschools.ca trankin@saanichschools or aclesle@saanichschools.
CFAX Santa’s Anonymous
A reminder that our school is supporting the Parkland Leadership students and collecting new unused toys and cash donations for CFAX Santa’s anonymous. Donation bin is located in our front foyer and teachers will collect any cash donations in the classroom. At this time of year, we often collect personal care items for the food bank. This year, we will be focusing on Santa’s Anonymous during the holiday season. We will be collecting personal care items for the food bank in late January. More information to come after the winter break.
